Sliding By Sligo

Checking in from Yeats country. Some of the sites literally take one's (mine, of course) breath away here in Ireland. Been to Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Clifden, Croagh Patrick, and Westport before this. A secluded secret spot in Clifden the highlight so far.

I'm in a cybercafe populated by kids playing video games in little cubicles.

Not a place I want to stay in.

So, I'm exiting.

Carry on.

As you were.

To Yeats's grave later.

Pawlie, my wife fairly salivates over the idea of she and I taking an extended tour of the British Isles someday, so keep the updates coming. Hope you're having a great time.

I love Ireland. Did you kiss the Blarney Stone yet? Maybe you shouldn't. It's rather gross. It's a freaking rock, for crying out loud. But Ireland is excellent. Plop any one of those towns in the middle of the U.S. and it would be a top tourist destination, after which it would become ridiculously commercialized and overrun with chain stores.
