As they were enjoying an evening walk, they were arrested by the site of one -- and then two -- pale lavender myrtle blossoms amidst a sea of ground-creeping greenery, and wondered and asked no one (or everyone) in particular: what sight or sound caught your attention today, stopped you in your tracks (if you had your awareness antennae turned on)?

Hey Paul . . . I hope you are well! I just read the profile that "55 Plus" wrote and it was excellent. The pandemic has really put a wrench into my travel plans this year, although I was able to visit Thailand and the Big Island in January, February, and March (chased out of both by the Virus. HAHAHA). I have new hobbies now, e.g., collecting and shooting firearms, as well as extensive hiking. My new mountain home is only 3-4 miles from the El Dorado National Forest. Consequently, I can shoot my guns and hike as well.
Merry Christmas! Be well and stay safe!
